Cheap and easy breaded fish

    This recipe for breaded fish couldn't be easier. You can use almost any fish, and the method works for goujons, too.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 fish pieces, such as basa or river cobbler
    • 1 bowl plain flour
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 1 tray breadcrumbs
    • oil for frying

    1. Cut each piece of fish in four. Dredge all sides in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
    2. Heat oil in a frying pan, and cook fish till golden brown on one side, then flip and cook the other side till browned and crisp.


    Only use minimal oil
