Easy barbecue sauce

    This is my family favourite BBQ sauce. It's great on lamb, beef, pork, chicken or fish. It is quick and easy to make and you could use it as a marinade or as a dipping sauce.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 5 tablespoons tomato ketchup
    • 2 tablespoons clear honey
    • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 3 tablespoons wine vinegar
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons tomato purée
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 300ml stock

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cook over medium heat until reduced to a thick sauce.

    Added half a teaspoon of smoked paprika and a bit of sugar as abut bitter for us. Loved it.  -  09 May 2017
