About this recipe: This tasty and versatile salad goes well with almost anything and keep for up to 2 weeks in the fridge. I usually like to make a double batch so that we have plenty on hand.

Makes: 200 ml salad dressing

  • 120ml vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon spicy prepared mustard

  1. In a bottle with a screw lid or a clean jam jar combine oil, vinegar, lemon juice, onion powder, sugar and mustard. Screw the lid tight and shake well. Keep in the fridge until it is time to serve, then give a shake to remix the ingredients incase they have settled.
