About this recipe: A quick and easy cuttlefish dish to make and a great complete meal when accompanied by couscous and grilled vegetables.

Serves: 4 

  • olive oil
  • 800g cuttlefish
  • 1 handful parsley leaves
  • 3 to 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • white pepper to taste
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • salt to taste
  • 2 to 3 mint leaves, chopped

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 C / Gas 3. Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Wash the cuttlefish and place them in the baking dish. Add the parsley leaves, garlic and white pepper.
  3. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes. After taking the cuttlefish out of the oven, sprinkle with the lemon juice, some salt and mint.


The cuttlefish should be served hot and with grilled vegetables, couscous and a Greek yoghurt sauce. The Greek yogurt sauce is easy to prepare: One small tub of Greek yoghurt, juice of half a lemon, a pinch of salt, pepper and oregano. Mix well.
