    About this recipe: Thin slices of beef cooked in an herbed garlic tomato sauce makes a great main dish for meat lovers!

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 cloves garlic, halved
    • 400ml passata
    • 1 teaspoon oregano
    • 1 pinch salt
    • freshly ground black pepper to taste
    • 600g thinly sliced beef
    • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

    1. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium high heat, and cook and stir the garlic just until fragrant. Add the passata and oregano and bring to the simmer, stirring every so often. Season with salt and pepper.
    2. Add the meat, cover the pan with a lid, and 5 minutes. Turn the beef and continue cooking, covered for 5 minutes more.
    3. Serve meat covered with tomato sauce and garnished with parsley.
