Warm prosciutto rolls with herbed goat cheese

About this recipe: Wrap the unique flavour of goat cheese into thin slices of prosciutto and create tiny rolls that will melt into your mouth. Make sure to serve them warm! Great as a starter, excellent for a summer party!


Serves: 6 

  • 160g soft goat cheese
  • 1 bunch chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped wild rocket
  • 250g prosciutto
  • 25g butter

  1. In a bowl, mix the cheese with the chives and rocket. Stir well.
  2. Lay out the slices of prosciutto, fill them with the cheese mixture, then roll up from one short end to the other.
  3. In a frying pan, melt the butter and add the prosciutto rolls. Saute for a minute. Serve warm.


You can serve these prosciutto rolls as a starter salad with a little extra rocket.

I tried these cold before cooking and then cooking them as directed in the recipe. We definitely preferred the cold precooked product. Cooking them as directed seems to make the flavors too strong for our taste. - 16 Oct 2012
