A delicious side dish with cabbage and apple. With the tasty cream sauce, it won't be hard to get your family to eat their veggies.

Ingredients
Serves: 2
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 large apple, cored, peeled and diced
- 1/2 head white cabbage, shredded
- 250ml vegetable stock
- 2 tablespoons dry white wine
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 pinch caraway seeds
- 1 bay leaf
- 5 juniper berries
- 200ml single cream
- salt and pepper to taste

- In a large skillet heat olive oil. Fry onion and apple until translucent. Add cabbage and fry for about 5 minutes. Pour in stock and wine.
- Tie spices together in a piece of cheesecloth and add to the cabbage. Simmer for 40 minutes, until cabbage is soft.
- Take out spice bag, pour in cream, bring to the boil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
