    About this recipe: Turn ordinary mince into an exotic dish with this easy recipe. Great weeknight meal. Serve with rice, naan, roti or potatoes (boiled or mashed). Leftovers are great on toast for lunch or in a toastie pie.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 750g beef mince
    • 1 tablespoon Indian spice paste of your choice
    • 1 teaspoon crushed chilli and garlic (from jar, or make fresh)
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 tablespoon tomato puree
    • 4 tablespoons fromage frais or quark

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Cook all ingredients in a frying pan (besides cheese) till mince is browned and cooked through.
    2. Add quark once mince is cooked, and you're done.

    Tip

    You could also add onion or grated vegetables if you wish.
