Korma style dip

    This Indian-inspired korma dip with mango chutney and almond goes well with naan or pitta wedges. Serve as a party snack or appetiser.

    Serves: 8 

    • 2 tablespoons mango chutney
    • 8 tablespoons natural yoghurt
    • 4 tablespoons mild curry powder
    • 1 tablespoons ground almonds

    1. Finely chop any pieces of fruit in the chutney and combine with yoghurt, curry powder and almonds.
    2. Place in a ramekin dish and chill well before serving.

    Did I get the measurements wrong? I put in 4 tablespoons of mild curry powder as it says but is so strong and not very nice aftertaste. Also gas a gritty texture. Should it have been 4 teaspoons? I even added more yoghurt and mango chutney but still very strong. Will perhaps use this as a base for another batch. I am glad I road tested it before the function.  -  16 Feb 2015
