Preheat the oven to 220 C / Gas 7. Lightly flour a baking tray.
Sieve flour, baking powder and salt together. Stir in oats, butter, sugar and dried fruit. Beat the egg with the milk, then stir into dry ingredients.
On a floured board, lightly knead and shape dough into a 20cm circle. Place on the prepared baking tray and cut into 8 or 12 triangles; brush the top with a little milk.
Bake in the top of the preheated oven until golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes.
