Spiced almond milk

    Make your very own easy, homemade spiced almond milk to warm up cold autumn mornings. You could also use this almond milk to make hot chocolate, or to use in porridge.

    Makes: 750 ml almond milk

    • 150g almonds
    • 1.25L water
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, cardamom and cloves

    1. Soak the almonds in 500ml of water overnight. Drain and peel the almonds.
    2. Add the peeled almonds plus 750ml of water to a blender and blitz.
    3. Pour the blended mix through a sieve to collect the pulp.
    4. Add the spices and place in a pan, heat gently and enjoy!
