    • 225g butter
    • 225g brown sugar
    • 250ml golden syrup
    • 250ml single cream

    1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat; stir in sugar and golden syrup and bring to the boil.
    2. Simmer gently for 10 minutes and then carefully stir in cream; refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
