About this recipe: Crunchy toasted walnut biscuits made with only four simple ingredients. And they are ready in no time!

Makes: 1 dozen biscuits

  • 55g (2 oz) butter
  • 85g (3 oz) caster sugar
  • 40g (1 1/2 oz) toasted, chopped walnuts
  • 55g (2 oz) self-raising flour

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 C / Gas 6. Lightly grease a baking tray.
  2. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy; stir in walnuts and flour. Make small balls and place on prepared tray. Using the back of a fork, press gently down on each biscuit.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Remove and carefully press with fork again. Return to oven and bake until golden, about 5 minutes.
