Spiced pumpkin seeds

    A great way to use the pumpkin seeds from your Halloween Jack O Lantern. These make a healthy snack, roasted with spices.

    • Approx 3/4 cup pumpkin seeds, cleaned
    • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
    • 1/8 tsp garlic salt
    • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
    • 1/2 tsp harissa paste
    • 1 tsp olive oil
    • sea salt

    1. Pre-heat the oven to a moderate temperature.
    2. Combine all the ingredients except the salt in a bowl and mix in to the pumpkin seeds.
    3. Spread out evenly on a baking tray, sprinkle over the salt and bake until starting to crackle and have a deep colour (approx 20 mins). Stir /2 way through and sprinkle with a little more salt.
