Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Grease two 450g (1 lb) loaf tins.
In a bowl, combine the flour, Ovaltine® and sugar. Add the golden syrup and pour in the milk. Mix well and add the fruit. Once the mixture is well blended, pour into the prepared loaf tins, dividing evenly between the two.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Allow to cool, before turning out onto a cooling rack.
