    Makes: 24 garlic bread knots

    • 300g pizza dough
    • 80ml olive oil

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:25min

    1. Preheat the oven to 230 C / Gas 8. Lightly grease a baking tray.
    2. Roll out pizza dough to form a 25x40cm (10x16 inch) rectangle. Cut the sheet into 2cm (3/4 inch) parallel strips. Then cut these strips in half, making about 24 pieces. Tie each strip into a knot and place close together on the prepared baking tray.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 17 to 20 minutes. Remove the knots from the oven and place them in a large bowl. While the knots are still hot, drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, crushed chilli flakes and salt; toss well and serve warm.

Made these the other night - Great way to use up excess pizza dough and they look good too! (presentation is not my thing) Thanks for sharing  -  30 Apr 2013

These garlic knots are great, but I work at a pizzeria so I know you have to make them hot. Pour the toppings over them right when they come out so it soaks in. If you wait until they are cold it coats the outside and gets messy.  -  24 Nov 2005  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

this was a delicious recipe, however I baked the knots for a while just before they turned golden brown, and then I coverd them with everything and baked it till golden brown so the flavor soaked in.  -  18 Nov 2005  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
