A very easy icing to make , I made double & put the butter and syrup in the microwave for 60sec to soften then gradually added the icing suger , I wasn't sure if I would need the milk , so I added it right at the end and beated it in with a wooden spoon , a lovely smooth and tasty icing for my daughters 18 th birthday cake & everyone loved it - 13 Jul 2014

Absolutely gorgeous buttercream type icing. I added cocoa powder like the recipe suggested and it was so, so yummy! Will definitely be making this again. With my little girl next time though perhaps. - 08 Sep 2015
