    About this recipe: This 'virgin' bloody Mary is a good hangover cure. You can also add vodka for a spiked version, but note it would no longer be a 'mocktail'!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 3 sticks celery
    • 1L passata
    • 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
    • 3 tablespoons sugar
    • 6 teaspoons grated onion
    • juice of 1 large lemon
    • bay leaf

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Extra time:15min resting  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Wash celery, cut into small pieces and place in a pitcher. Add the remaining ingredients, mix and let stand for 15 minutes. Strain through a muslin, chill and serve in small glasses.

    Tips

    Make it spicy by adding Tabasco® or similar to each glass.
