About this recipe:
Make the delicate French clafoutis with mulberries for a quick and easy pud. Or use raspberries or black cherries. Serve warm with some whipped cream.
450g (1 lb) fresh mulberries
3 dessertspoons caster sugar
150ml (1/4 pt) soured cream
1 tablespoon plain flour
- Preheat oven to 150 C / Gas 2.
- Put mulberries in a shallow dish and sprinkle on 1 dessertspoon sugar. Put in the preheated oven to warm through.
- Mix 1 dessertspoon sugar with eggs, soured cream and flour and beat well. Pour over warm fruit and bake for 45 minutes.
- Sprinkle with the last spoon sugar over and serve hot with cream.
