About this recipe: Firstly, please excuse the weird title - it's just what I used to call them when I was little and my mum would make them, so the name's kind of stuck in our family! Basically, they're little "sandwiches" of banana slices filled with peanut butter, a perfect healthy sweet treat. Seven of them contain about 160 or so calories, and of course, they're packed with potassium. In the past, I've added a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavour.
For the peanut butter, I use smooth, but of course this is all a matter of personal preference. Although having said that, it might not work at all with crunchy PB; I've never actually tried it! Let me know how it goes if you do!
These won me the title of 'you're the best grandma' x 5 :-) - 26 Jun 2016
