Crispy seafood bake

    This dish with prawns and crab meat and a crispy cornflakes crust tastes just wonderful. Serve with rice and a side salad.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 225g (8 oz) prawns, peeled
    • 225g (8 oz) white crab meat
    • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
    • 1/2 small onion, chopped
    • 2 sticks celery, chopped
    • 1 dessertspoon Worcester sauce
    • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
    • 75g (3 oz) crushed cornflakes

    Method

    1. Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas 6.
    2. In large mixing bowl, combine seafood, mayonnaise, onion, celery, Worcester sauce and seasoning. Spoon into an ovenproof casserole and sprinkle with cornflakes.
    3. Bake for 25 minutes, till bubbly and the topping is crisp.

    Tips

    No cornflakes? You can use seasoned breadcrumbs for the topping instead. You can get creative and add some grated cheese, chopped fresh or dried herbs to this dish.
