    About this recipe: A fun party treat, jellies are given a coconut and rum alcoholic twist. These treats are not for the kids!

    Serves: 12 

    • 250ml boiling water
    • 23g strawberry flavoured jelly powder
    • 250ml coconut-flavored rum

    Prep:10min  ›  Extra time:8hr chilling  ›  Ready in:8hr10min 

    1. Arrange twelve 60ml plastic cups on a baking tray.
    2. Slowly pour boiling water over gelatine mix in a bowl while whisking. Continue whisking while streaming rum into the gelatine mixture. Pour mixture into plastic cups.
    3. Refrigerate until set, 8 hours to overnight.

    Great summer party cocktail. I like using dixie cups for these because the cups can be torn at the seam for easy eating. If you can find it in your local store, try this with Pina Colada jello mix.  -  29 Jun 2012  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)


    I love how simple and quick to prepare this recipe really is. I did also add 1 packet of Knox Gelatin. I also used pineapple jello rather than the strawberry/banana. So delicious ~ pure tropical. Thank you for sharing Janice. Maybe I should add that I made the shots in wilton silicone molds, once set they just peeled out ~ so easy and everyone loved the shapes instead of the plastic cups!  -  10 Aug 2012  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
