300g caster sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
250g plain flour
60g unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
350g Reese's Pieces® peanut butter sweets

Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas mark 4. Grease baking trays.
Cream together butter and sugar in a bowl. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa powder, bicarb and salt; stir into creamed mixture. Fold in peanut butter sweets. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto the prepared trays.
Bake in the preheated oven until set, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
If you can find them, peanut butter chips work well in this recipe instead of the Reese's®.
