About this recipe: A recipe for Christmas biscuits from my German grandmother. If you like candied peel and nuts you'll love these.
Ice whilst still warm with a royal icing made from one of the remaining egg whites and enough icing sugar to make a thick but still running icing. The icing will stiffen as the biscuits cool. Keep in an airtight tin. They keep well but never seem to stay in the tin long!
