About this recipe: The slow cooker does the work for you! Packed with beans and Quorn mince, this chilli is satisfying and delicious. And with a chilli this easy, there's no excuse not to have a hearty home-cooked meal at the end of the day.


Serves: 8 

  • 400g Quorn mince
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 sticks celery, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 600g passata
  • 3 (400g) tins kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 125ml water
  • 1/2 tablespoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Prep:15min  ›  Cook:8hr  ›  Ready in:8hr15min 

  1. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours.

I didn't know what to expect with slow cookered Quorn, expecting mush but o my, tastytasty x made it twice, first to the exact ingredients then had a little tweak, quartered the recipe and use chopped tomatoes and baked beans and added sweetcorn as I didn't all have the ingredients x result a little sweeter but a winner x 🙌🏼😍 - 17 Jan 2016
