Esha's potato wedges

    These are really easy potato wedges and don't take very long.This recipe can be used for kids which are allowed to use knives and the oven/grill! Also this can be a snack for after school or make more of it and it can feed you at dinner time!

    Serves: 1 

    • 1 large potato
    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • pinch of salt (you may wan't to use more salt after the wedges are done!)

    1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees/gas mark 4.
    2. Wash the potato and peel off any unwanted/bad bits.
    3. Cut the potato into evenly sized wedge shapes.
    4. Put the cut potato into a bowl with the oil then mix with your hand.
    5. Then pour the potatoes onto a baking tray,spread them out and sprinkle a pinch of salt on top.
    6. Bake in the pre-heated oven for about 15-20 mins or until golden brown.
    7. When made,put baking tray on a cooling rack until they have cooled completely.
    8. Next using a pallet knife,put the wedges in to an air tight container.Just before closing the lid you may wan't to add 1 more pinch of salt to add a bit of flavour.
    9. Enjoy!


    Delicious served with pizza,fish or chicken.
