About this recipe:This is an easy and tasty pasta recipe which incorporates simple ingredients that most of us have in the cupboard. It is quick and easy but truly delicious. Recipe is for 2 persons but the ingredients can be easily increased for more servings.
1 teaspoon lazy chilli or 2 to 3 drops of tabasco sauce
6 oz tinned tuna in olive oil, flaked
parmesan cheese grated to serve
2 oz low fat plain or greek yoghurt
2 tablespoons virgin olive oil

place pasta in boiling water with a pinch of salt and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes or until al-dente.
Meanwhile in a wok or large frying pan, add the olive oil and when hot, add the onion and cook over a medium heat until it softens. If it starts to burn, reduce the heat.
add the garlic and bacon, ensuring the bacon pieces are separated . Stir to stop the garlic burning for 5 or 6 minutes until the bacon is cooked.
Add the chilli (or tabasco) and stir in evenly. Reduce heat further if the pasta is not quite ready yet.
Drain the pasta and add to the wok together with the tuna. Stir it in and heat through thoroughly.
Add the yoghurt, mixing it in well.
Dish it up into deep bowls and sprinkle with grated parmesan.
Lovely served with easy garlic bread. Sliced ciabatta or similar, toasted both sides, brushed with olive oil on one side, and with a clove of peeled garlic rubbed over the top. This is the way Italians do it! No need for butter etc and tastes fantastically fresh and healthy.
If you don't want to add the yoghurt, it is still good without. My husband who is a cheese fiend also has a pile of grated chedder with his as well
