About this recipe: A dessert of cinnamon-coated pears, usually served with cream. For something different, add a scoop of ice cream and a drizzle of golden syrup!

Serves: 2 

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 jarred pear quarters, drained
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • double cream, to serve

  1. Heat a frying pan on low and add olive oil. Carefully add pear quarters. Turn up the heat to medium and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon. Keep turning the pears until slightly browned. Take off heat and onto a warm plate.
  2. Pour some cream over the dessert and serve!
