Chicken pot pie

    A comforting and creamy chicken pie that is ready in under an hour. Use any mixture of veg that you'd like. Frozen mixed veg works well.

    Serves: 6 

    • 2 homemade shortcrust pastry sheets
    • 275g cooked chicken, diced
    • 300g mixed veggies, cut into pieces
    • 250g cooked potatoes
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 (297g) tin condensed cream of chicken soup
    • 125ml milk

    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:45min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Line a pie dish with one sheet of pastry.
    3. In a bowl combine the mixed vegetables, chicken, potatoes, onions, cream of chicken soup and milk. Pour mixture into pastry lined dish.
    4. Place other pastry sheet over the top of the filled pie. Crimp the edges to seal, and poke holes in lid to let steam escape.
    5. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
