Grease a baking dish. Cover the bottom of the dish with a layer of bread then a layer of fruit on top, then another layer of bread with more fruit and finishing with a layer of bread.
Preheat the oven to 150 C / Gas 2. Sprinkle a little cinnamon and sugar to make the top nice and crispy.
Beat together milk, cream and eggs and warm through in a saucepan. Whisk in sugar, then pour over the bread in the dish. Let soak for 20 minutes.
