Mix melted butter, 100g caster sugar, flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder and milk together in your chosen baking dish (this will be your cake mixture, which if cooked properly will rise from the bottom and float to the top).
For the sauce (which will be on the bottom of your pudding when fully cooked): sprinkle the brown sugar, 100g caster sugar and 3 tablespoons cocoa over the cake mixture, and then pour on the water. Very gently stir the sauce mixture (it doesn't have to be smooth) and be careful not to scrape the cake!
Cook in a preheated 180 C / Gas 4 oven until the puddle on top of your cake has dried up, about 30 to 45 minutes.
Top with your favourite ice cream or cream and munch away! Be careful, it's hot!
I fully understand that the pictures look quite unappealing. I suppose you could make it look all pretty and stuff but I have no time for such things, I just want to eat it. I suggest a dollop of double cream to serve. ENJOY! xxx
The cooking time can vary alot, if you don't like how runny your mixture is then put it back in the oven until its reached your ideal consistency! You should end up with a sticky oozing chocolaty cakey saucy mess enjoy! - 09 Jun 2013
