gnocchi with cheese sauce and veg

    Serves: 4 

    • gnocchi
    • 100ml vegtable stock or more if want more sauce
    • cream cheese (i used philadelphia light with herbs)
    • a little grated cheese (any you prefer)
    • 2 leeks
    • peas fresh or frozen (cup full)
    • ham
    • butter (enough to saute leeks)

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. cut leek and rinse.
    2. heat butter in frying pan and sauté leeks for 5 mins till golden.
    3. add the stock and peas and simmer for 2 minutes
    4. boil pan of water and add gnocchi till they rise to the top.
    5. add ham to leeks, stock and peas.
    6. add cream cheese about half a tub and stir.
    7. when gnocchi done add to the cheese n veg mix. stir for few minutes.
    8. serve. goes great with bread roll or baguette and salad


    you can use different cheeses, meats and veg.
