    About this recipe: This incredible dessert will have everyone asking you for the recipe. This is a many times over tried and tested family recipe which tastes as good today as the first time we tried it - it never gets old.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 3 Mars® bars, sliced
    • 1 tablespoon milk
    • 300ml double cream
    • 1 egg, white only
    • 55g milk chocolate, grated
    • icing sugar, for dusting

    Method

    1. In a saucepan over a low heat, combine the Mars® bars and the milk and cook and stir for 5 to 8 minutes until the Mars® bars have melted fully. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.
    2. In a bowl, whisk the cream until light and fluffy and gradually add the melted Mars® bar mixture, slowly to start, then fold in the rest.
    3. Whisk the egg white until stiff peaks form and fold into the mousse mixture.
    4. Spoon the mixture into 6 individual serving bowls and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
    5. To serve, garnish with grated chocolate and dust with icing sugar.

    This is an absolute rubbish recipe, as soon as the Mars Bars are added to the cream they set almost solid so that they can't be mixed in. What a waste of money and ingredients, and they are not cheap to make. My advice is....DONT - 28 Feb 2014
