    About this recipe: Different take on the classic roast turkey dinner, for those times you can't be bothered roasting a whole turkey.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 500g turkey mince
    • 1 pack dried sage and onion stuffing
    • 1 egg

    Method

    1. Stick your turkey mince into a large mixing bowl. Make a bit of a well and crack the egg into it and knead for a minute or so.
    2. Add the stuffing mix to the meat and egg combo and knead until the mix is evenly dispersed into the meat.
    3. Roll all the meat into small balls in the palm of your hand and fry for 5 to 10 minutes, rotating regularly until they brown on the outside. (If they start spitting, add a small amount of flour to the pan to calm them down a bit.)
    4. Serve with garlic and rosemary mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy and a big smile.

    Tips

    If you fry them in small batches of 5 or 6, you could also simmer a pan of turkey gravy and add the balls to this to keep warm while you finish the others.
    If it comes down to the last two meatballs and you have too little for two normal sized meatballs, make a big one and give it to your favourite person at the table. It'll make them feel special.
