    About this recipe: Lovely winter warmer best served with either dumplings or a pancake. I like it with some brown sauce as well.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 500g stew meat
    • 1 large onion, diced
    • 5 beef OXO® cubes
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 4 carrots, diced
    • 1 small turnip, diced
    • 3 parsnips, diced
    • 2 sticks celery, diced
    • 5 large potatoes, diced
    • 1 tin stewed steak
    • 1 tin processed peas
    • 1 tin beef broth soup

    Method
    Prep:20min  ›  Cook:2hr  ›  Ready in:2hr20min 

    1. Put meat into a large saucepan and add boiling water to cover, onion, OXO® cubes and salt and pepper. Simmer for 1 hour.
    2. Add diced vegetables. Simmer for a further hour.
    3. Add tinned stewed steak, drained peas and beef soup. Simmer for 10 minutes.
