Heat the oil in a frying pan or wok over medium high heat. Add chicken and cook till browned and the juices run clear.
Add sliced mushrooms and bacon cubes to the pan, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, till the bacon is crisp. Pour in the cream and simmer the mixture for 7 minutes; do not boil.
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to packet instructions.
