    About this recipe: This fudge fridge cake is a must have on our family picnics and is greatly enjoyed at parties and afternoon tea.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 1 fruity fudge cake

    • 75g butter
    • 75g golden syrup
    • 175g digestive biscuits, crushed
    • 75g sultanas
    • 75g glacé cherries, quartered
    • 175g dark chocolate, chopped

    Method
    Prep:15min  ›  Extra time:2hr chilling  ›  Ready in:2hr15min 

    1. Grease and line a 450g loaf tin.
    2. In a saucepan over a medium heat, melt the butter and syrup then stir in the biscuits, fruit and chopped chocolate. Press the mixture into the loaf tin and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Slice and serve.
