Easy and tasty chocolate mug cake

It's late, it's dark, I'm in my PJs and I need chocolate cake. We've all been there, and here's the solution. I adapted this mug cake from another recipe and I am so glad I did. I don't really like mouth sealing goo, especially at 10pm at night. So I went for a lighter cake that has a rather airy and crumbly texture. It needed the chocolate chips which I added on top, just to give it some creaminess, and would have been utterly mind blowing with ice cream.
