Chocolate Rice Krispie Biscuit Botch!!!

    I had some condensed milk left over from another recipe and really fancied something chocolatey, crunchy, biscuit... mmmmmmm!!!!!

    • 1 (397g) can condensed milk
    • 6 tbsp cocoa powder
    • 2 oz (55g) butter
    • 4tsp golden syrup
    • 4tsp dark brown sugar
    • 15 digestive biscuits
    • 4 handfuls rice krispies


    1. Bash the biscuits roughly until some are completely crumbled, and some are still a bit chunky
    2. Mix the biscuits in a bowl with the rice krispies
    3. In a non-stick pan, mix together the sugar, butter, golden syrup, condensed milk and cocoa powder
    4. Heat on a low heat, stirring continuously until the caramel thickens up
    5. Pour the caramel into the bowl with the rice krispies and biscuits and mix until they are all thoroughly combined
    6. Press into a traybake tin and chill for 1-2 hours
    7. If you wish, top with around 100g melted chocolate of your choice
    8. Enjoy!


    This make quite a lot - serves around 30, so half or quarter if you like!
