About this recipe:
Easy to make for breakfast or even a snack. Use your favourite cheese and serve with hot sauce on the side.
2 tablespoons milk
30g grated cheese
2 tablespoons plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, or to taste
salt, to taste
2 slices white bread, cut into two triangles each
3 tablespoons oil
- Beat the egg and milk together till frothy. Add cheese, flour, baking powder, chilli powder and salt and mix well. Dip each piece of bread into the mixture, ensuring it soaks in on both sides.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry bread in hot oil till both sides are golden brown.
