    • 120g (4 oz) pre-cooked boneless chicken
    • 30g button mushrooms
    • 1 small onion
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 1 tablespoon garden peas
    • 180g (6 oz) cooked rice, cooled
    • salt to taste
    • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon monosodium glutamate (M.S.G.)
    • 3 teaspoons soy sauce

    1. Cut chicken into small cubes. Chop mushrooms and mince onion. Beat egg in bowl.
    2. Heat oil in wok. Add onion and stir fry, adding mushrooms.
    3. Continue stir fry adding chicken and peas. Add rice and stir fry or toss to mix in well. Make well in centre and add egg mixture. Stir, scramble and mix in thoroughly. Add salt, sugar, M.S.G., and soy sauce. Stir fry and serve on plate or bowl.
