3 tablespoons salted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
450g button mushrooms, halved
3 tablespoons white wine
55ml double cream
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
salt and pepper, to taste

In a frying pan, melt the butter over a medium heat. Add the garlic and mushrooms and cook and stir for 4 minutes. Add the wine and bring to a simmer until reduced by half. Add the cream, herbs and seasoning and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and serve immediately.
I would have given this a 5 star for sure except I had to add more liquid to my mushrooms. Other than the fact that I had to use dried parsley I followed the recipe's ingredients and very much enjoyed this with my steak dinner! Yummy stuff! Thanks, MaryDavies! - 21 Feb 2015
