    Serves: 6 

    • 450g potatoes, peeled and diced
    • 450g swede, peeled and diced
    • 55g butter
    • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
    • salt and pepper, to taste

    1. Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Add the potato and swede and cook for 20 to 25 minutes until soft. Drain.
    2. Mash the potato and swede and add the butter, chives and seasoning. Serve hot.
