This delightful clapshot is absolutely delicious with Balmoral chicken. Creamy, flavourful and easy, this is a side dish to be proud of.
450g potatoes, peeled and diced
450g swede, peeled and diced
4 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
salt and pepper, to taste
- Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Add the potato and swede and cook for 20 to 25 minutes until soft. Drain.
- Mash the potato and swede and add the butter, chives and seasoning. Serve hot.
