About this recipe: This lovely ginger duck dish is packed with flavour and easy to make in the wok. Serve with rice for a complete meal.


Serves: 4 

  • 900g duck breasts, diced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sherry
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 3 spring onions
  • 85g root ginger, minced
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons toasted sesame oil

  1. Combine all of the ingredients except the sesame oil in a bowl and mix well to coat. Allow to marinate for 1 hour.
  2. In a wok over a high heat, warm the oil then add the duck along with the contents of the bowl. Stir fry for 5 to 8 minutes until the duck is cooked to desired taste. Remove from the heat and serve immediately.
