    About this recipe: Get your kids happily eating their vegetables with these tasty balsamic mushrooms that have a sweet twist.

    Serves: 2 

    • vegetable oil
    • 1 clove garlic, sliced
    • 6 mushrooms, sliced
    • 120ml stock
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    • Tabasco®

    1. Put a glug of oil in the pan and add the garlic to brown and sizzle before adding mushrooms. Stir until they are brown.
    2. Add prepared stock to frying pan, stirring with wooden spoon or spatula.
    3. Slowly add the first tablespoon of sugar then the second, follow this with the balsamic and Tabasco®.
    4. Stir the mixture for 10 minutes then plate up.
