Everytime I serve this dish people want the recipe. And there are never any leftovers. A simple dish created from bits I had leftover one Sunday evening. Now a firm family favourite. Very tasty and easily amended to suit family taste buds.
Can also be cooked in a slow cooker - just put all the ingredients in together except for the gnocchi and cook on low for 8 hours. If looking slightly dry add water to get the texture you desire. Boil the gnocchi separately, then combine with the slow cooker mixture to serve.
