The Best Smoked Haddock Chowder

    • 225g new potatoes
    • 10fl oz milk
    • 15fl oz veg stock
    • 1 onion
    • 1 can of sweetcorn
    • 150g smoked bacon lardons
    • 450g smoked haddock, cut into chunks


    1. Put milk & stock into large saucepan, add potatoes & boil gently for 20 mins
    2. Cook onion & lardons in a little butter, until golden brown. Add to potatoes, along with haddock & sweet corn.
    3. Simmer for 10-15 minutes
    4. Stir in a little parsley (optional) & serve with crusty bread
