Arrange the jointed chicken in a shallow dish. In a bowl mix the remainder of the ingredients in a bowl then pour over. Marinate for at least 2 hours.
Preheat the barbecue to a medium high heat. Start by cooking the thighs or your thickest cuts (as these will need a little longer) and cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Then add the breast meat and cook for a further 10 to 12 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink in the centre. Once no longer pink, remove from the barbecue and serve.
This chicken is also wonderful cold and sliced in a sandwich the next day!
