    About this recipe: Made with mint or orange, this soft fluffy cake gets infused with the gorgeous flavours from the Aero® Bubbles.

    Serves: 8 

    • 175g (6 oz) butter or margerine, softened
    • 175g (6 oz) sugar
    • 3 eggs, beaten
    • 175g (6 oz) self raising flour
    • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (optional)
    • 1 tablespoon milk
    • 1 bag of mint or orange Aero® Bubbles

    1. Cream together butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Gradually add beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
    2. Sift in the self raising flour and cocoa, if using (mint aero cake tastes better in a chocolate cake).
    3. Grease a baking tin or line with parchment. Spoon in the cake mixture. Push the Aero® Bubbles deep into the cake mixture to ensure completely covered.
    4. Place in a preheated oven at 180 C / Gas 4, about 20 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool, and decorate if you choose to with a topping of your choice.


    Mint Aero® bubbles go well with a chocolate cake whilst orange works well with a plain sponge cake.
