Simplest Whole Hog Roast Recipe Ever

A hog roast is very easy to prepare though it is popular myth among the people that it can be a tough recipe.     • A whole suckling pig appropriate size.
    • Water.
    • Kosher salt.
    • Granulated sugar.
    • Vegetable oil.


    1. Wash your pig properly so that dirt is removed. The next step is to fill your garbage bag with water and salt and stir quickly. Once you think that they are properly mingled, place your hog into the garbage bag and seal it. Keep it away in the refrigerator for the next few hours.
    2. Pick out your hog and wipe out all the water. After drying, you need preheat your oven to 250 degree Fahrenheit and fill your hog with small pieces of aluminum foil to prevent caving.
    3. Put your hog in a large tray and cover it lightly with an aluminum foil. Make sure that it sits properly inside your oven.
    4. Firstly roast your hog for 2-3 hours and then increase the temperature to 400 degree Fahrenheit.
    5. Tap it gently with a lot of oil and roast it for another 15 minutes to get the glaze on the skin of the hog roast.
